We love the big blue planet we call home. This February we’re proud to announce we’ve partnered up with the Carbon Reduction Institute to offset our carbon emissions and reduce our carbon footprint. So how does it work? Strap yourself in for a little science lesson!

Carbon Institute analyses the Over The Moo business. They look at all the emissions we produce as shown above. All these add up to producing greenhouse gasses that we're not keen on.
We've tried to make our ice cream a lot more environmentally friendly. We have committed to ongoing auditing of our carbon emissions. As shown above, we balance our emissions by purchasing Carbon Credit Units to offset our emissions so we are now Carbon Neutral. Yay!
What Carbon Credit Project does Over the Moo purchase units from?
China Wind
The China Wind Project provides a renewable, clean energy source for power generation. By reducing harmful pollutants in the atmosphere, the China Wind Project also provides public health and local environmental benefits.
Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve
Rimba Raya is the world’s largest initiative to protect and preserve tropical lowland peat swampforests – one of the most highly endangered ecosystems in the world. The Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve aims to reduce Indonesia’s greenhouse gas emissions and protect the endangered Borneo Orangutan. The project is scheduled to reduce more than 130 million tonnes of greenhouse gases over the 30-year project life. Woo!
